Hi
It’s about 11:30 in night and I am about to start the writing of my own diary. In this I’ll include all the things that I have learned during the whole day. And I know that whenever I’ll read them these incidents reminds me the actual lessons that I’ve learned.
Today I watched the 1st match between India and England from Rajkot on NEO SPORTS. YUVARAJ’s and SEHWAG’s innings were blasting. India won by 158 runs.
At the end of the day I started reading newspaper’s MIND OVER MATTER section, in which there was an article ‘LIVE LIFE JOYFULLY TILL THE END’. Here I’m giving you something about the same article. Read carefully.
It was all about the fear of death. But before that there was a simple but very good thing to remember. It was,” The last years of our life are the most important”. If those last few years are happy one we have had a happy life. It’s all about the one’s state of being, the attitude, and perspective. When we reach the old age, we know from our heart that we lived a satisfied life or not. No one else can decide it for us. The greatest challenge we face in saying honestly whether our life has been well spent. This is the biggest question and the answer is known by the person itself.
Every single time in our life we approach to satisfy ourselves, either we are successful or not but we do. If we fail to do so the perspective of our mind changes dramatically. Sometimes we course GOD, conditions, people, families and all that. If we are doing this it means we are declining in thinking for future life. We fee3l unsatisfied and making our mind to feel unsatisfied in future life too. We are living in the world of I can’t do it; I am too old, its too hard, etc…. Instead we should tell ourselves:- “ I am still young”, “ I wouldn’t give up yet”, “ I can still do it”, just by changing the way we speak to ourselves we can change the way we live the life. Isn’t it?
Youth is not a time/age of life, its one state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips, good health, etc… it’s a matter of a will, quality of imaginations, freshness and positivities of your thoughts.
There is a great difference in between simply living a long life and living a full and rewarding life. What’s really important is how much rich texture and color we can add to our life to make it gloomy during our stay here on earth. The quality is all that matter not quantity of how many years we live our life.
This was a first article I’ve read tonight and it’s really a good one. Another is also somehow related to the same topic, can be different but they are attached in some manner. In this article there was a story given by the writer. In train everyone is calm and normal. At a station a child with his father entered into the train. Father is doing meditation and his son became busy in making noises and go here and there in the train. Suddenly child breaks your calmness. You feel irritating, may be you ask his father to let him stop or you may try other things to stop him.
Now suddenly the father speaks that her mother died before 2 hours in a hospital. Child lost his mother that’s why I’m not stopping him. Every single time in trying to explain this to him his reaction is this only.
Now how do you feel? The child doing the same thing but now you feels terrible, you feel guilty, sorry for the man and child. You might feel upset to think negatively about them. Why is that so?
It’s because the power of our beliefs. Please not confused by the emotions. Because emotions are not caused by the situation, they are caused by our own beliefs about situation. Beliefs are those who color our perceptions and understanding of the events.
Situations themselves do not produce the feelings. It’s our perception of situation that makes us feel good or bad. No one can make us happy or sad. We choose to be happy or sad. We choose the way to respond to the situation rather than react.
In this article writer suggests a PQR formula to respond/act properly in a situation rather than react instinctively. P is for Pause (find myself in the situation), Q is for Question (how does this situation relates to the meaning of my life?), R is for Respond (a freely chosen action not a reaction).
These two stories had a great impact on my mind and I feel the same for you too. Now its almost 12:30 so I’ve to sleep. These writing will further be continued next day. Till then good-bye and good night. GOD bless all of us.
